A new way of sharing ideas …. the new ‘Look Book’

I am continuing to be pushed into the fast flowing IT river – which is a bit of sink or swim scenario. Having learnt to swim in a race because I was too proud to admit that I could not swim for fear of being teased by the other kids in school and nearly drowning a nun – what could be life threatening about this river I ask myself?

So the latest adventure is that we now have a ‘look book’ which we prepared for this coming year and would love to know what you think of it (Click on the image and that will take you straight to the magazine on our blog).  Please feel free to share it on any of the networking sites you use (easy to use links/buttons appear once you have looked at the publication).

Charles & Patricia Lester Look Book
February 2012

This one is about the clothes – we have started preparing one for the interior textiles and that will be published as soon as I have found all the inspirational material. We have a few other ideas which we are exploring too.

At our age I am sure we should be sitting by the seaside and discussing the shapes of the clouds or some-such relaxing occupation, but Georgina continues to give me massively challenging internet tasks. I have to admit that some of it is totally absorbing and it is fascinating to find so many like minded people from all over the world on some of the social networking sites. Pinterest has had my attention for the past week – such amazing diversity of art and creative ideas – so much talent out there that we would never, in a million years, find without the internet. We are so lucky – I often imagine how my father would have enjoyed this enormous resource of information. Mind I still like to read a book!

Pinterest is still by invitation only from members already on the site. So if it looks like a fun (and useful) site for you to use then let me know and I will arrange for an invite to be sent to you.

With very best wishes from a mild but cloudy day in Wales.
