We might be in lockdown but the vegetable garden is taking shape nicely. Peas, beans, broad beans, chard/spinach, salsify, potatoes, broccoli, leeks, welsh garlic or is that welsh onions, cardoons all flourishing in the early spring warmth. more in the greenhouse waiting to be planted in the beds.
The sunshine has been glorious. Thank goodness for that. I dread to think think how much worse things could have been if the weather had been dire.
Of course we think that every business including fashion businesses should have a vegetable garden. Now more than ever I don’t think that we can ever be so divorced from nature as many have been in the last century or so. It’s vital for our mental and emotional well being as well as the well being of the planet. Gardening provides Food for the body and the soul whilst offering inspiration for our creativity. It makes complete sense to us.
